About Me
Dynamic and passionate registered nurse who is currently a DNP candidate in Health Innovation and Leadership. Possess strong leadership, innovation, interpersonal attributes. Known for excellent collaboration skills within various healthcare groups and organizations locally, nationally, and internationally. Had immersive experiences in global health care systems in Kenya, Cuba, and Sweden. A 2023 Scholar in the Harvard University CHEAA Health Equity Scholars program. Dedicated to the advancement, quality improvement, accessibility, and dismantle of injustices of healthcare within the country and BIPOC communities.
Mission Statement
My purpose and mission as a nurse is to create a safe, progressive, and leading-edge environment within healthcare. This is to be achieved through establishing collaborative, healthy, and trusting relationships with key healthcare leaders and stakeholders. Change and improvement within healthcare will be achieved through innovation, accountability, collaboration, research, and positive actions. This mission statement corroborates my continuous dedication to advancing and progressing an ever-evolving healthcare system.

Life as a nurse both pre & post licensure has proven this path was meant for me. The opportunities, individuals encountered, and impact I’ve had within my community has removed any doubt. Being a voice & advocate in healthcare has allowed me to open doors and break barriers that serve as a blockade.

Increasing CPR Education Quality Improvement Visual Abstract
Quality Improvement is a key component to nursing and the advancement of healthcare. Currently, Black and Hispanic individuals have lower CPR education rates due to several factors. As an AHA BLS/Heartsaver Instructor I am dedicated to this QI problem. I have opened my own LLC to further combat this issue.

Increasing CPR Education Quality Improvement Health Equity Scholar Program
To effectively complete a QI project, one must learn proper tools and have adequate resources. In the CHEAA Health Equity Scholars program, we learn various tools such as, networking skills, collaboration skills, inclusivity skills, etc, to implement on our quality improvement project. These tools will help me in my project and business to increase CPR knowledge in Black and Hispanic individuals.
